The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Maths and Psychology Teacher to join its Secondary School team. The role involves teaching Mathematics and Psychology within the IB Diploma Programme and IGCSE, with a focus on delivering engaging and concept-driven lessons that challenge and inspire students. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics and Psychology within the IB Diploma Programme and Mathematics at IGCSE
• Design and deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB philosophy
• Prepare students effectively for Internal Assessments and external examinations
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress
• Analyse assessment data to inform and improve teaching strategies
• Contribute to collaborative planning, moderation, and curriculum development
• Maintain high standards of academic integrity and classroom practice
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student success

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in Mathematics and/or Psychology
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Mathematics and/or Psychology at upper secondary level
• Strong understanding of IB Diploma Programme assessment requirements
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
• Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)

Preferred

• Experience teaching IB DP Mathematics (AA or AI)
• Experience teaching IB DP Psychology
• Experience in an international school environment
• Italian language skills (advantageous but not essential)
