Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that inspire and engage students at GCSE and A Level.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and raise standards across the department.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student progress and attainment.
• Provide pastoral care and support as a form tutor, including the delivery of RSHE.
• Encourage and support participation in extracurricular activities and wider school events.
• Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
• Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Maths at GCSE level.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passion for Maths and a commitment to inspiring students.

Preferred

• Experience teaching A Level and Further Maths.
• Ability to teach a second subject.
• Experience with extracurricular activities or leadership roles.
• Experience in pastoral care or form tutoring.
