Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that inspire and challenge students at all levels.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student achievement and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental performance.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of A level provision and other enrichment activities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance subject knowledge.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring Early Career Teachers.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and digital tools.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Passion for mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students.
