Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that inspire and challenge students at all levels.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student achievement and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental performance.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of A level provision and other enrichment activities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or mentoring Early Career Teachers.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and digital tools.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Passion for mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students.
