Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
  • Stay current with developments in the subject area and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Provide pastoral support to students as needed, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good degree, ideally from a leading university.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • High expectations of both self and students.

Preferred

  • Previous teaching experience, especially in A-level Maths.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications such as ECT or QTS.
