The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher - Part Time to join its dedicated team. This role will involve teaching Mathematics to secondary students in a supportive and inclusive environment. The position offers flexibility, with 2-3 days per week, and the opportunity to contribute to a high-achieving academic programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to secondary students in line with the IB curriculum.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support diverse learning needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Teaching Qualification in Secondary Education.
  • Degree in a relevant subject area, such as Mathematics.
  • Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a secondary classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to ensure consistently high standards of teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the IB programme.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
