The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher, you will join a supportive and thriving department and work closely with the Head of Mathematics to develop the teaching of Mathematics. This is an exciting opportunity for ECTs to grow and make a meaningful impact on student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Work collaboratively with the department to enhance teaching methods and student outcomes.
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice.
• Provide pastoral support to students and contribute to the overall school community.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and initiatives that promote a love of Mathematics.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience working with students in a school setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience with ECTs or mentoring new teachers.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
