Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students
• Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students they teach
• Liaise with teaching colleagues to support strategic development and share best practice
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
• Support the school's mission to raise standards and improve outcomes for all students
• Inspire and motivate students through innovative and engaging teaching methods
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and learning
• Utilise technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience of teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Consistently good or outstanding teaching practice
• Exceptional classroom management with high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
• Commitment to raising standards and continuous improvement
• Willingness to lead initiatives and demonstrate impact

Preferred

• Experience with technology for learning and a willingness to innovate
• Experience of working within a Multi-Academy Trust
• Experience of teaching in a school with a specialism in healthcare or health sciences
