Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students
- Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students they teach
- Liaise with teaching colleagues to support strategic development and share best practice
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Support the school's mission to raise standards and improve outcomes for all students
- Inspire and motivate students through innovative and engaging teaching methods
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Utilise technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience of teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Consistently good or outstanding teaching practice
- Exceptional classroom management with high expectations of learning and behaviour
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Commitment to raising standards and continuous improvement
- Willingness to lead initiatives and demonstrate impact
Preferred
- Experience with technology for learning and a willingness to innovate
- Experience of working within a Multi-Academy Trust
- Experience of teaching in a school with a specialism in healthcare or health sciences
