The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE and A Level groups.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching students with SEND.
  • Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations.
  • Familiarity with assessment and scholarship processes.
  • Ability to contribute to the school’s pastoral and extracurricular programmes.
