Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE and A Level groups.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) where appropriate.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience teaching students with SEND.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations.
- Familiarity with assessment and scholarship processes.
- Ability to contribute to the school’s pastoral and extracurricular programmes.
