Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative Business Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements and promote student achievement.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and progression.
• Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement and identify areas for support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
• Support the school’s mission by promoting enterprise, self-reliance, and responsibility in students.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and student enrichment programs that align with the school’s focus on Business Enterprise.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies.
• Experience in teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience in delivering vocational and academic courses in Business and Enterprise.
• Familiarity with research-based teaching practices.
• Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
• Experience in developing and leading extracurricular programs related to Business Studies.
