The Opportunity:

A Maths Teacher with Whole School Numeracy TLR is needed to support the delivery of a high-quality mathematics curriculum. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking a new challenge, and offers the potential for a TLR based on whole school numeracy leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum and mastery approach
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts through small steps
  • Engage in continued professional development to enhance subject knowledge and teaching practice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement and improve the school’s mathematics curriculum
  • Promote excellent outcomes for all students and remove barriers to learning
  • Contribute to the development of a cutting-edge and innovative curriculum
  • Participate in whole school numeracy initiatives and potentially take on leadership responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Familiarity with GCSE content and mastery-based teaching approaches
  • Commitment to student success and inclusive education
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Experience with whole school numeracy initiatives or leadership
  • Background in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar
  • Experience in curriculum development or innovation
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience
