The Opportunity:

As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students between collection points and the academy. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of student transport and supporting the school's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the minibus safely and efficiently according to specified routes and schedules.
• Ensure the safe and timely transport of students to and from the academy.
• Maintain the minibus in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth transport process.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and school policies.
• Assist with the supervision of students during transport where necessary.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate records of all transport activities and student pickups/drop-offs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Valid driving license and appropriate minibus driving qualifications.
• Experience operating a minibus or similar vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays.
• Commitment to student safety and wellbeing.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• Experience with child passenger safety regulations.
• Knowledge of local transport routes and areas.
• Experience with school transport systems or software.
