The Opportunity:
As a Personalised Learning Centre Coordinator, you will lead the management of the PLC, delivering tailored support and intervention strategies for vulnerable students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, mentoring, and multi-agency collaboration to improve learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the Personalised Learning Centre to support vulnerable students.
- Identify and deliver alternative courses and intervention strategies tailored to specific student cohorts.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal staff to develop and implement effective support pathways.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions to ensure continuous improvement in student outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
- Ensure all activities align with the school’s vision and educational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and interventions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in educational support or student intervention roles.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Experience in developing and delivering tailored learning pathways.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting with a focus on vulnerable students.
- Knowledge of alternative education frameworks or intervention strategies.
- Experience with mentoring and pastoral care.
- Familiarity with educational software and data management systems.
- Background in curriculum design or learning support.
