Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative music lessons that inspire creativity and enthusiasm
• Prepare students for GCSE/iGCSE and A Level examinations
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment programs
• Promote high standards of achievement and behavior in the classroom
• Collaborate with a strong and supportive teaching team
• Support student progress through continuous assessment and feedback
• Encourage a love of music and performance through extracurricular activities
• Stay up to date with developments in music education and pedagogy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related discipline
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent)
• Experience teaching the British Curriculum
• Experience teaching GCSE/iGCSE
• A commitment to raising standards and inspiring students

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with performance-based learning
• Familiarity with music technology and digital resources
