The Opportunity:

A Music Teacher is needed to inspire and engage students through creative and practical learning. This role involves developing individualised programs and working within a multi-disciplinary team to support student growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality music education tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Develop and implement creative, engaging learning activities.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and assess the effectiveness of teaching methods.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and self-evaluation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Knowledge of specific subject area to be taught.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding educational practice.
  • Experience in working with students with learning disabilities.
  • Current car driving license with no disqualifications or serious offences within the past 3 years.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching music to students with autism.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in developing individualised learning programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • £13,728 annual salary.
  • 16 hours per week.
