The Opportunity:

As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Care Team and ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s administrative functions. This position is essential to maintaining the quality of care and education provided to students with complex needs, and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager and Care Managers with administrative tasks related to student care and management.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records for student referrals, progress, and transfers.
  • Oversee scheduling of training and roster management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of student care plans.
  • Assist with personnel information management to meet statutory and analytical requirements.
  • Maintain efficient office operations and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to manage data and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads effectively.
  • Calm and professional under pressure.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or care setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Experience with administrative systems and software.
  • Previous experience in a residential or special needs setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary of £26,665.60.
  • 40 hours per week with 6 weeks of paid holiday.
