Join a school's Music Department as a temporary Music Teacher, starting in November 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality music lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Develop and maintain a vibrant extra-curricular music program, including ensembles and solo performances.
- Collaborate with the Performing Arts Department to enhance student achievement and creativity.
- Implement a knowledge-rich, personalised curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Support the school's commitment to inclusion and mental well-being through music education.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic performance in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant music qualification.
- Experience in teaching music at the secondary level.
- Ability to deliver a knowledge-rich, personalised curriculum.
- Commitment to inclusion and student well-being.
- Strong classroom management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in leading extra-curricular music activities.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or similar.
- Experience working in an Ofsted Outstanding school.
- Experience with music performance and production.
- Passion for developing student talent in both solo and ensemble settings.
