The Opportunity:

As the MYP Coordinator, you will play a central role in shaping the Middle Years Programme, ensuring alignment with IB standards and promoting collaborative teaching and learning. This is a leadership position that impacts student success and program quality across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the MYP curriculum across all grade levels.
• Support and guide teachers in developing and delivering high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Facilitate professional development and collaborative planning sessions for MYP faculty.
• Ensure consistent application of IB standards and practices in teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the MYP program, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with the pedagogical leadership team to align program goals with school-wide objectives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the MYP department.
• Liaise with parents, students, and external stakeholders to maintain strong communication and support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in senior or middle leadership within an international or IB setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the MYP curriculum framework and IB Standards and Practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
• Understanding of child protection, health and safety policies, and international accreditation processes.

Preferred

• Experience in leading or managing large-scale curriculum implementation projects.
• Knowledge of international inspection and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience in fostering a collaborative and inclusive school culture.
• Familiarity with the IB Career-related Programme and its implementation.
