The Opportunity:

As a MYP Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of students by ensuring the implementation of the MYP program aligns with its philosophical and pedagogical principles. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the MYP curriculum across the school.
• Facilitate collaborative planning, teaching, and assessment processes among faculty.
• Provide leadership and support to teachers in developing and delivering high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Ensure alignment of teaching practices with the MYP program standards and requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing guidance and support to teachers where needed.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the secondary team.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to student learning.
• Support the development and implementation of assessment strategies that reflect MYP principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of senior or middle leadership experience in a similar educational setting.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong understanding of the MYP curriculum framework and pedagogical best practices.

Preferred

• Experience in an IB environment or teaching the IB curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
• Expertise in technology-enhanced learning and innovative teaching methods.
• Proven track record in fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments.
