The Opportunity:

As Nursery Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and education for young children. You will play a key role in shaping the early learning experience, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports every child's development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education
• Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans aligned with early years frameworks
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements
• Foster strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies
• Monitor and maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing within the nursery
• Support the continuous professional development of nursery staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless learning experience for children
• Oversee daily operations and ensure a positive, welcoming environment for all children and families

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing or leading a nursery or early years setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare)
• Sound understanding of safeguarding policies and child protection procedures
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• First Aid certification
• Experience with curriculum development for early years
• Experience in a school or educational setting
