As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping confident, compassionate young people through physical education and co-curricular activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical education lessons that promote student engagement, fitness, and lifelong healthy habits.
- Foster an environment where students are supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, building strong relationships and supporting their personal development.
- Actively participate in co-curricular activities, including sports and other extracurricular programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and inclusive school community.
- Uphold the school’s values of courage, honour, humility, and fellowship in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Ensure the implementation of safeguarding procedures and maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
- Support the development of students’ character and leadership skills through sports and physical education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Appropriate degree with UK PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification that gives QTS.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience with familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels.
- Clean criminal record check including International Child Protection Check (ICPC) or equivalent police checks from relevant countries.
- Proven commitment to child safeguarding and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Prior teaching experience in leading independent schools.
