Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Develop and implement engaging sports and physical activity programs for Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Promote a culture of health, fitness, and lifelong participation in sport.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's enriched curriculum and global citizenship initiatives.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in physical education outcomes.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including sports teams and community events.
• Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity in all aspects of teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the professional development of the teaching staff through collaboration and mentorship.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or equivalent degree with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Proven experience in teaching Physical Education at Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physical Education and student development.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Preferred

• Experience contributing to an enriched curriculum and global citizenship programs.
• Experience working in an international school environment.
• Leadership experience or a track record of successful teaching and student engagement.
