Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons across Years 7 to 13, aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
• Support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, including EAL learners, through differentiated instruction and inclusive practices.
• Manage and develop classroom resources and digital tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet to enhance student learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to department and whole-school priorities, including curriculum development and assessment.
• Participate in professional development and quality assurance processes to continuously improve teaching practice.
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure achievement and growth.
• Contribute to the school’s commitment to sustainability through initiatives such as the farm school program.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that promote a positive learning culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• At least one year of teaching experience in a secondary setting.
• Confident knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for secondary mathematics.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to support diverse learners.

Preferred

• Experience teaching across a range of secondary year groups.
• Proficiency in using digital tools to support learning.
• Experience with bilingual or multilingual education practices.
