The Opportunity:
As a Personal Learning Coordinator, you will lead the Personalised Learning Centre and develop tailored support strategies for vulnerable students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to improving learning outcomes through collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the Personalised Learning Centre to ensure effective support for students.
- Identify and deliver targeted intervention strategies and alternative courses for specific student cohorts.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to address barriers to learning and support student progress.
- Mentor and support students to help them achieve their full potential.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning interventions and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Stay up to date with best practices in education and personal learning support.
- Contribute to the development of school-wide policies and initiatives related to student support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in education, preferably in a role involving student support or personal learning.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and coordinate services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and multi-agency partners.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to develop and implement targeted learning strategies for vulnerable students.
Preferred
- Experience in designing and delivering bespoke learning pathways.
- Knowledge of alternative education models and intervention strategies.
- Experience with multi-agency collaboration and partnership working.
- Experience in a school or academy setting, ideally within a large educational trust.
- Experience with curriculum development and personal learning support.
