Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical education lessons that align with the school's curriculum and promote student engagement.
• Lead and contribute to a wide range of extra-curricular sports activities and teams.
• Support the delivery of swimming programmes and contribute to the development of students' aquatic skills.
• Assist in teaching IGCSE Physical Education and IB Sports, Exercise, and Health Science, with appropriate training and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues across primary and secondary schools as required.
• Promote a culture of physical activity, health, and well-being throughout the school community.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
• Contribute to the assessment and progression of students in physical education across all key stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Certified teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching physical education in the UK or a reputable British school overseas
• Evidence of leading a wide range of extra-curricular sports activities
• Confidence and competence in delivering PE curriculum across relevant age groups
• Evidence of continuing professional development in Physical Education

Preferred

• Experience and passion for EYFS and Primary PE and swimming
• Ability to teach up to IGCSE Physical Education/BTEC Sport Level 2 with a proven track record of strong student performance outcomes
