Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to students from FS1 to Year 13.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with the National Curriculum for England.
• Support students in achieving academic success through individualized instruction and assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and community engagement programs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Stay up to date with current developments in Physics education and incorporate them into teaching practices.
• Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE (Science/Physics)
• Proven experience teaching Physics to A level
• Exemplary teaching practice and a passion for continuous improvement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A proven track record of delivering outstanding learning and teaching

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Leadership experience or interest in taking on leadership roles
• Experience with computational thinking and innovative teaching methods
