Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics across key stages (KS3 to A level) to a range of students.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for Physics.
- Contribute to the development of departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities.
- Support students academically and provide individualised guidance where needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s high academic standards.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and school life.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physics.
- Experience teaching Physics across key stages (KS3 to A level).
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience in a selective or academically high-achieving school.
- Involvement in extracurricular or supra-curricular activities related to Physics.
- Experience with student support and pastoral care.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on mental health and well-being.
