The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that foster curiosity and a love of learning in Year 1 and Year 2 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver a dynamic and inclusive curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Lead and contribute to the school’s vibrant co-curricular programme, including arts, sports, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student development and progress.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Year 1 and Year 2.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-curricular or extra-curricular setting.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
