Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum objectives and promote student achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Plan and prepare resources and schemes of work that cater to a diverse range of student abilities.
• Support students with special educational needs, English as an additional language, and gifted and talented students through differentiated teaching.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain high standards of conduct and discipline.
• Facilitate hybrid, distance, and face-to-face learning to meet the needs of all students.
• Reflect on teaching practices and adapt lessons to enhance student progress and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role.
• Mandatory experience in an international school setting.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language (EAL).

Preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with parents in a diverse, multicultural environment.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student well-being and development.
• Experience in delivering hybrid or distance learning.
