Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students in a bilingual setting, ensuring they meet academic, social, and emotional learning goals.
• Collaborate with a co-teacher to deliver lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
• Plan and implement lessons that promote learning through play, problem solving, and exploration.
• Monitor and support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students within the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and development.
• Participate in and contribute to the co-curricular programme, including after-school clubs and activities.
• Supervise students during mealtimes, playtimes, and other designated periods.
• Comply with all school policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
• Support admissions and marketing efforts by engaging with prospective families and promoting the school’s values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in early years education.
• Strong understanding of play-based learning and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
• Proficiency in using information technology for lesson planning, record keeping, and parent communication.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.

Preferred

• Experience working in a bilingual educational environment.
• Familiarity with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Experience with students with special educational needs.
• Knowledge of Chinese educational practices or Mandarin language skills.
• Experience in co-curricular programme delivery or extracurricular activities.
