The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Arabic Teacher to join its dynamic team. This role involves delivering high-quality Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History lessons to young learners, while meeting national educational standards and fostering a supportive, engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History to primary students.
• Ensure compliance with national curriculum and Ministry of Education requirements.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Arabic Department and other subject areas to support student development.
• Support students’ academic and personal growth through tailored teaching and individualized attention.
• Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students to support learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, or Islamic Studies from a reputable university.
• Relevant teaching qualification with experience teaching Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History to primary students.
• Fluency in Arabic and strong spoken and written English.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues across the school.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Arabic B to non-native students.
• Experience with Islamic Studies delivered through English.
• Familiarity with the British National Curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection.
