The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Foundation Stage Teacher who will also take on the role of Year Group Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team while delivering high-quality education to young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of teachers within the Foundation Stage, ensuring consistent delivery of the curriculum.
• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that promote the holistic development of young children.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to parents and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to support student learning and well-being.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant teaching qualifications and experience.
• Proven experience as a Year Group Leader within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of early years education and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience with the British curriculum or international education standards.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
• Familiarity with using technology in the classroom.
• Experience in leading professional development sessions for staff.
