Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging art lessons that align with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop their artistic talents and creative confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum and integrate cross-curricular learning.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding academic and personal outcomes through creative expression.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, sharing expertise and contributing to a culture of professional growth.

  • Stay up to date with current trends and developments in art education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A high-quality degree in Art or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching art at the primary level.
  • A strong track record of delivering outstanding student outcomes and exam results.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead a team.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international school environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and implementing subject initiatives that improve student achievement.
  • Experience with cross-curricular and collaborative teaching approaches.
  • Familiarity with British international school standards and curricula.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular art programmes.
