The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to teach KS3 Technology and support the development of practical and innovative skills. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and creativity in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Art and Technology, focusing on Textiles and Product Design.
• Foster creativity, confidence, and a love of learning in students.
• Use technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Support the development of students' practical skills and independent thinking.
• Contribute to the delivery of a vibrant extra-curricular programme.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and innovative curriculum.
• Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field, with a PGCE (or equivalent) and QTS.
• Experience teaching KS3 Technology, with a preference for Textiles and/or Product Design.
• Strong understanding of international best practice in teaching and learning.
• Commitment to ensuring student motivation, challenge, and support.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

• Experience with international curricula such as the National Curriculum of England, GCSE/IGCSE, or IB.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
• Experience in developing and leading extra-curricular activities.
• Demonstrated success in student achievement and engagement.
