The Opportunity:

As a Primary EAL Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with English as an Additional Language. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape young learners’ language development and contribute to a dynamic, multicultural educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EAL learners across the Primary phase through targeted intervention and in-class assistance.
• Collaborate with class teachers to plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the language needs of EAL students.
• Assess students’ English language proficiency and monitor progress using appropriate tools.
• Develop and implement strategies to support language acquisition across the curriculum.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on EAL best practices and inclusive teaching methods.
• Liaise with parents to support students’ language development and integration into school life.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Proven experience as an EAL Teacher.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of the English National Curriculum and language support strategies.

Preferred

• Additional qualifications or certification in EAL/TESOL.
• Experience in an international or multicultural school setting.
