The Opportunity:

A school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join its successful Primary team. This is a full-time, indefinite position with a fully sponsored contract and an attractive tax-free package. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
• Lead year group planning to ensure consistent coverage, progression, and a range of learning experiences across six classes.
• Support and mentor colleagues within the year group, providing guidance on planning and assessment.
• Coordinate pastoral care for students, ensuring their well-being and success.
• Promote strong parent partnerships through workshops and celebrations of student achievements.
• Organize and lead enrichment activities that enhance the learning experience.
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages both student and staff well-being and success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
• Proven experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Previous leadership experience, particularly in leading a team.
• Commitment to professional development and a passion for teaching.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.

Preferred

• Experience with Talk 4 Writing or Read-Write-Inc programmes.
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection.
• Fluency in Arabic or Islamic Studies.
