Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English instruction to students in line with the IB PYP curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and language development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and student progress.
• Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in professional development and school events to enhance teaching practice and school culture.
• Support the school’s mission of cultivating global-minded, well-rounded students.
• Engage in bilingual and STEAM-related initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Fully qualified and experienced Primary English Teacher with a degree in English Language & Literature or a related field.
• Relevant professional teaching qualification such as a Master's in Education, PGCE, QTS, or teaching diploma.
• Minimum of two years of international teaching experience.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to the IB PYP framework and international education.

Preferred

• Experience with bilingual education (English/French or English/German).
• Familiarity with the Swiss Baccalaureate or IB curriculum.
• Experience in STEAM education or interdisciplinary teaching.
• Fluency in French or German.
• Experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
