The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the needs of Primary/Foundation Stage students
  • Create a whole-school music culture through collaborative and inclusive music-making experiences
  • Integrate music into project-based and theme-based learning across the curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports student wellbeing
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance music provision and student engagement
  • Utilize specialist facilities, including a dedicated music suite and auditorium, to enhance teaching and performance opportunities
  • Support the school’s mission and values, including the WISDOM framework, in all aspects of teaching and learning
  • Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, creative, and inclusive music curriculum

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience teaching music to Primary/Foundation Stage students
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum delivery through project-based and theme-based learning
  • Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of a growing school

Preferred

  • Experience in developing a whole-school music culture
  • Familiarity with the British curriculum and international education standards
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Experience working in a multicultural and international school environment
