Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that align with the National Curriculum for England and promote student progress.
- Create a positive, creative, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Utilize digital tools and technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Provide timely, personalized feedback to students to support their academic growth and achievement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents.
- Support the school’s values of safety, respect, and ambition in all interactions with students and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in the UK or in a British Curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current assessment practices.
- Experience with data systems, student tracking, intervention, target setting, assessment, and reporting.
- Commitment to outstanding teaching and learning and the ability to build strong partnerships with parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support whole school initiatives and improvement goals.
Preferred
- Experience in English language acquisition and early literacy development.
- Familiarity with the International School’s Partnership (ISP) Learning Hub and CPD programs.
- Experience in a multicultural environment.
