The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide maternity cover starting in August 2026. This role involves supporting students in accessing the curriculum, assisting with classroom tasks, and working closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in accessing the curriculum and assisting them in completing tasks.
• Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement agreed work programmes.
• Assist in the planning cycle and management of resources for classroom activities.
• Provide individual and group support both inside and outside the classroom.
• Motivate and engage students to enhance their learning experience.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the needs of all students are met.
• Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Some experience working with Primary children.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with both students and adults.
• Ability to motivate and support students in their learning.
• High standard of written and spoken English.

Preferred

• Experience in a similar teaching assistant role.
• Familiarity with the British curriculum and teaching methods.
• Experience with international relocation and cross-cultural environments.
• Previous involvement in professional development or training programmes.
