Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curricular aims.
  • Provide academic challenges that enable each pupil to reach their full potential.
  • Foster a positive, well-disciplined classroom environment.
  • Assess pupils’ work effectively and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain up-to-date curriculum knowledge and stay informed of educational trends.
  • Communicate regularly with pupils, parents, colleagues, and senior leaders.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and enrichment programmes.
  • Support school-wide initiatives, events, and inter-house competitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A DfE-recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent) in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching in a primary setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for education and commitment to pupils’ success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Recent teaching experience in the UK.
  • Experience teaching in a British curriculum school.
  • A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.
