Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding leadership and drive the school’s strategic direction in line with Trust values.
- Champion high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure continuous improvement and strong student outcomes.
- Lead an inclusive, ambitious, and student-centred culture that supports all learners to excel.
- Build strong partnerships with local schools, employers, and community organisations.
- Ensure financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and effective governance across all areas of the school.
- Work collaboratively with the Trust and stakeholders to maximise opportunities for students and staff.
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and high standards across the school community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A proven track record of successful senior leadership in a post-16 or secondary setting.
- The drive, resilience, and integrity to lead with conviction and compassion.
- A clear commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting high standards.
- The ability to unite and inspire staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
- A deep understanding of educational improvement, curriculum development, and effective education systems.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a large, multi-disciplinary team in a college or academy setting.
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation in post-16 education.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of financial management and governance in educational institutions.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £122,306 - £141,693.
