Summary:

Seeking an experienced Executive Principal to lead a secondary school and support improvement across a multi-academy trust.

The Opportunity:

The Executive Principal will provide strategic and operational leadership for a secondary school and contribute to school improvement projects across the Trust. This is a pivotal role for someone with a strong background in secondary leadership and a vision for driving excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the strategic direction of the school in line with Trust objectives and local priorities.
  • Deliver high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes across all key stages.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives across the Trust.
  • Promote and uphold the Trust’s culture, ethos, and values in all aspects of school life.
  • Foster strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Support the professional development of teaching and support staff across the Trust.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on school performance and progress regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or Principal in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrated success in leading school improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policies, curriculum development, and school governance.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative structure.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading multiple schools or contributing to Trust-wide projects.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in driving cultural change and improving student outcomes.
