Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Plan and deliver curriculum content in line with school and national standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to support learning outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and events.
- Support the school’s vision, values, and Christian ethos in all aspects of teaching and behavior.
- Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge.
- Experience in teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to the school’s vision, values, and Christian ethos.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
Preferred
- Experience with cross-phase professional development opportunities.
- Familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and learning.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Previous involvement in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.
