Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Psychology across the Senior School, including A Level.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire a love of learning.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a dynamic curriculum.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Psychology and education.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Psychology at A Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Psychology.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to school events.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-educational setting.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos.
  • Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities related to Psychology.
