The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Psychology Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on A-Level students and contribute to a supportive and successful department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to A-Level Psychology students.
  • Ensure continuity of learning and maintain academic standards.
  • Support students in developing their understanding and application of psychological concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum.
  • Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Psychology and incorporate them into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in A-Level Psychology.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons to A-Level students.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and support student success.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in a sixth form or college setting.
  • Familiarity with the Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
