Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Support students in developing strong mathematical skills and confidence.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities for students.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience in teaching mathematics at A level or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering lessons to a diverse range of students.
  • Experience with teacher training or a graduate with a degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
