As a School Librarian, you will lead and champion library spaces across Early Years and Primary, fostering a strong reading and inquiry culture. This role is ideal for a creative and enthusiastic professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic international school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop library resources and services for Early Years and Primary students.
• Foster a culture of reading, inquiry, and lifelong learning across the school.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
• Oversee the use of online and offline library platforms to support teaching and learning.
• Promote library services to students, parents, and the wider school community.
• Support literacy initiatives and lead professional development for staff.
• Ensure the library is a welcoming and inclusive space for all students.
• Monitor and evaluate library usage and impact on student learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Degree in Library Science or similar; PGCE with QTS or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years’ teaching experience in a reputable school.
• Advanced/proficient English language skills.
• Strong communication skills and intercultural awareness.
• Knowledge of online and offline library platforms (e.g., Follett, JSTOR).

Preferred

• Experience in leading literacy initiatives or library programs.
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate framework.
• Experience working in an international school environment.
