Key Responsibilities:

• Teach all sciences to i/GCSE students.
• Develop and deliver engaging, interactive science lessons.
• Create comprehensive and innovative lesson plans.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support students’ academic and personal growth through pastoral care.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent from a UK university.
• Ability to teach all sciences at KS3 and 4.
• Experience teaching science in a British curriculum setting.
• Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
• High motivation for teaching and a positive, engaging approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Ability to teach Physics to A Level.
• Experience teaching in the UK or internationally.
• A strong commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
• Recent UK teaching experience.
• Child protection trained.
