We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to students in Year 5 to Year 8. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons to students across Year 5 to Year 8.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Participate in and contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality learning experience.
  • Support the school’s mission of developing well-rounded, responsible, and emotionally intelligent global citizens.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent from a UK University.
  • Experience teaching Science in a British curriculum setting.
  • Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
  • High motivation for teaching with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Proven experience teaching in the UK.
  • A strong commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Recent UK or international school experience.
  • Child protection training.
