The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to support students from Year 5 to Year 8 in a school that values innovation, academic rigor, and student engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing institution that prioritizes excellence in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across Year 5 to Year 8 in line with the British curriculum.
  • Design and deliver stimulating, challenging, and effective lessons that support all learners.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of progressive teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing strong numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
  • Participate in enrichment activities and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A certified teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.
  • A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics in a British curriculum school.
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
  • High motivation and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience preparing students for Key Stage 3 progression.
  • Proven experience teaching in the UK.
  • Recent UK or international school experience.
  • Child protection training.
